Supervisor 9.2 introduces powerful new tools to enhance visual analysis, streamline data exchange, and strengthen the software foundation, all designed to make your workflows smoother and more collaborative.
One of the key highlights is the introduction of fully connected graphics. When you select data in one chart—whether it’s a histogram, scatter plot, or 3D view—the same samples are instantly highlighted across all other visualisations. This makes it much easier to spot outliers and interpret relationships in your data. To complement this, new 3D selection modes let you isolate samples by drawing rectangles, polygons, or directional cuts, with the option to combine selections using familiar keyboard shortcuts. You can also apply selections as filters directly through a right-click menu, giving you more flexibility when working with complex datasets.

Datamine Supervisor 2024 v9.0.3 Tested Picture
Data exchange has been significantly upgraded. Supervisor now supports Datamine’s modern DMX format, offering improved compression, full Unicode compatibility, and support for up to 2048 columns—ideal for handling larger, more complex datasets. The import of legacy DM files has also been optimised for faster performance. Integration with MineTrust brings seamless collaboration: you can open shared projects directly or package your own, with options to include results and share them with colleagues. On top of this, a new right-click option allows you to export all descendant variograms at once, consolidating results into a single table and saving you time.
Analytical and visualisation features have also been refined. You can now overlay Grade-Tonnage curves from conditional and multivariate simulations for clearer comparisons, while the continuity model ellipsoid has been upgraded to be axis-locked, resizable, and visible in the Backtransformation component—ensuring greater control and context when reviewing models.
Finally, this release strengthens the underlying platform and usability. Supervisor now runs on .NET 9, ensuring ongoing Microsoft support, stronger security, and improved reliability. To make onboarding easier, two demo projects are available directly from the home page, letting you explore key features without starting from scratch. The feedback form has also been enhanced with options to automatically attach recent error messages and log files, enabling faster and more accurate troubleshooting. Combined with a long list of defect fixes addressing visualisation issues, file import reliability, and project compatibility, these improvements deliver a smoother and more robust Supervisor experience.
Please be patient as the creation process may take some time. Once the new project is created, it will need to be updated for the results to be regenerated. It’s important to note that once a project is upgraded to version 9, it cannot be reverted back to version 8. Make sure you are ready to upgrade before proceeding.
